Balhara was being questioned as well but no official statement had been issued till late Friday night. Muskan’s family members staged a protest outside the house, alleging she was being harassed. A forensic team has inspected the house and collected evidence. Muskan’s body was taken to PGIMS-Rohtak.
Muskan, who was from Farmana village in Meham, married Sheelu in Dec 2023. The couple has a nine-month-old son. Sheelu initially trained in judo and wrestling before taking up kabaddi at the age of six. Known as ‘Haryana Aala Cheeta’ in Punjab, Sheelu is a ‘catcher’ and has represented teams in India and abroad.
