Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has been doing wonders at the box office since its release on July 17, 2026. Like commoners, many celebrities also loved the Hollywood film based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic of the same name. Kamal Haasan, who is one of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema, has joined the Christopher Nolan fan club. He watched The Odyssey recently and shared his views on the Hollywood flick. The actor called it a ‘mast-watch’ and said that the film belongs to the ages. Kamal Haasan also mentioned that his ode will greet the Indian audience soon.
Kamal Haasan Calls The Odyssey ‘Must-Watch’
Kamal Haasan took to his Instagram handle and penned a note praising Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. He shared a poster that reads, “The Odyssey – An experience of Kamal Haasan.”
The veteran actor wrote, “Homer dreamt it. Nolan dared it. I applauded it. Children of cinema, this film belongs to the ages. Must watch!” Kamal Haasan further mentioned that he has made an epic film which will soon be released in India. The CBFC has approved the first preview of his upcoming film.
The Indian star didn’t reveal details about his next. He stated, “As #TheOdyssey continues its epic voyage across the world, my ode will greet audiences in theatres in India. I’ll share it here soon. P.S. The CBFC got the first preview! It approved.”
Kamal Haasan’s post is now going viral on social media and netizens started reacting to it in the comments section. One user wrote, “And we will still ask for Marudhanayagam, sir.” Another netizen stated, “We are waiting for MarudhaNayagam And MarmaYogi sir. God Bless.”
